A foray into photoshop
April 3, 2009For my TEAM class I was assigned to take a picture using several types of settings,(aperture, shutter speed, and ISO) of any subject. Naturally, I chose a Lego set. This is a replica of a Theta class attack shuttle ( a pretty darn good one too) with flick-fire missile chain belt, and 4 individually released torpedoes.

The cool part is that Photo-editing was permitted.
Here is the end result.

I took a black background and put on stars, pasted on the shuttle, and drew the rest with my handy-dandy paintbrush tool.
Not a professional grade job but it passed in my class!
P.S. Aunt Kakee , the set took about two hours to build and I think I have 100,000+ peices in our gigantic tub downstairs. About 3000 pieces are in sets.
WOW!!! That is so cool! I’m going to show Lydia this! That’s great photo editing!
Will you educate your blog audience on why aperture, shutter speed, and ISO is important? I’d love to learn! ;D
Lydia would like to know if you throw the spaceship!?
She also would like to see what else you make with those legos! ;D
Heeheehee!
