April 7, 2009

We go to a homeschool co-op which is called TEAM.  I am taking Pinhole camera, Sailing, and Poetry alive. There are classes designed for Preschool 1-3 Grade, 4-6 Grade, 7-8 Grade, and High School classes.I am in 5th Grade.

I am sleepy today and feel like I’m finally waking up at 6 o’clock. Good night.

Hello, Monkeys!

April 4, 2009

Hi, I am Andy, and these are my monkeys. The big one is Mo, the small one (don’t tell him I said that) is Monkley.

monkeys

I like monkeys, sports, and KSU. I had a birthday 5 days ago. I had an awesome cake. For school I do Math, English, Spelling, History, Bible, Latin, Geography, Reading and Handwriting. We grade each others tests in Latin and when we can’t read something we write BLURGASHMURG.

GO CATS.  KSU rocks. I got a Mike Beasley T-shirt for my birthday.Well, goodbye. I’ll blog again soon.

Hairballs

April 3, 2009

These are two more ‘hairballs’ of mine called Home and Away. I am a big K  state fan. No prizes for guessing how I got their name…

Cute pic, huh? They’re supposed to be hugging. These ones are similar to Phurpo and Marberie. Speaking of which,  I sewed another pocket on for one I made named Phurberrie.

A foray into photoshop

April 3, 2009

For my TEAM class I was assigned to take a picture using several types of settings,(aperture, shutter speed, and ISO) of any subject. Naturally, I chose a Lego set. This is a replica of a Theta class attack shuttle ( a pretty darn good one too)  with flick-fire missile chain belt, and 4 individually released torpedoes.

The cool part is that Photo-editing was permitted.

Here is the end result.

I took a black background and put on stars,  pasted on the shuttle, and drew the rest with my handy-dandy paintbrush tool.

Not a professional grade job but it passed in my class!

P.S.          Aunt Kakee , the set took about two hours to build and I think I have 100,000+ peices in our gigantic tub downstairs. About 3000 pieces are in sets. :)
